Awesome Alphabet Book

INSIDE: An awesome alphabet book.

A couple weeks ago we finished up an awesome alphabet book. I read some of Oliver Jeffers, Once Upon an Alphabet, to the kids. We used that as a mentor for our work.

The goals for this project were several:
  • To write a very short story that tried to (pretty tightly) tie the beginning of the story to the end.
  • To have a message in the story, whether stated outright or implied in the ending.
  • To use alliteration based on the letter in the alphabet.
  • To have some fun and be a little silly.
I was impressed by the work the kids came up with. You'll notice that some of the stories refer to other letters in the alphabet book and, I think, you'll also see that they had some fun with this project.

Here it is as a link and an embed (below.)

    1. We had such fun with this project. I love the subtlety of the endings for both "B" and "C", too. Wow.
